WHY CAN'T I JUST BUY A DVD RECORDER AND DO IT MYSELF?
A standalone DVD Recorder will not give you the customised on screen interactive menu. Often it is just a cold bare bones interface. By authoring your disc, we can also include a photo album and your favorite music in the menu.
